JOIN OUR PARTNER COMMUNITY

We work with professional theaters and arts organizations of all sizes to produce The 24 Hour Plays around the world through our partnership program. Whether you’d like to raise awareness for your work, build community within a specific group of artists, share the power of your artists to a wider or new audience, or achieve fundraising success, we work with you to identify and realize your goals.

Partners work closely with our administrative and production staff to set their production up for success. The 24 Hour Plays staff and the partner organization co-produce the event, with producing ambassadors from The 24 Hour Plays onsite during the 24 hours to ensure a successful production.

Why should my organization produce The 24 Hour Plays?

The 24 Hour Plays are fast, flexible and fun. Many institutions find themselves producing it to build community. Some use it as a fundraising event. Others just do it to add a new yearly tradition for their organization!

What kinds of organizations can participate?

The 24 Hour Plays Partnership Program is created for professional theater companies who are looking to add a dynamic event to their season. However, we also work with educational institutions and other non-profit organizations interested in innovative fundraising and messaging opportunities.

What are the benefits of partnering with The 24 Hour Plays?

We’ve produced time-limited theatre since 1995, so it’s safe to say that we know what we’re doing! Beyond just owning the trademark to the name, we’re able to bring a level of expertise to the table that is unmatched by any other. Plus, when you become a partner of The 24 Hour Plays, you’ll receive on-site support from one of our expert Producing Ambassadors, as well as guidance during pre-production from our staff

What are the costs?

There are two costs associated with producing a partner production: Licensing and Production Services. Both are determined on a sliding scale on a case by case basis. Licensing costs are largely determined by ticket prices and house size. Production services include your Producing Ambassador(s), as well as their  transportation and housing.

I’d like to produce The 24 Hour Plays but my organization isn’t a professional theater. Do you work with schools and amateur companies?

Yes! Visit our Produce Your Own page for more information about licensing an amateur production.
