Sunday evening after the last performance of the week, 16 professional actors/music performers meet. 1 producer, 4 instructors, 4 scriptwriters, 4 composers, 4 chapters and a band of 4 to 6 musicians. In the first hour, inspirations and ideas are exchanged. During the night, 4 new musicals will be written and composed for a duration of approx. 20 minutes each. Next morning, performers and instructors meet. Then, an 11-hour intensive awaits the four ensembles. Then at 8 pm, four all-new musicals premiere onstage. 24 Hours Musicals supports the Children’s Cancer Fund. Nearly 40 professional artists stand together to create 4 newly written short musicals within just 24 hours to help children who are affected by the cruel disease of cancer.
