It’s the last day of our spring appeal and, in true 24HP style, I’m racing the clock. If this was a show, we’d be heading off to rehearsal rooms with new scripts, wondering how in the world we’d have a show in 11 hours.

Today is a bit like that here! This campaign supports our annual fund, which covers the nuts and bolts of our operation — software licenses, insurance premiums, payroll and much more —  so we can continue to create radically present theater about the world we live in. I work with a tiny, dynamite staff and they’ve put their hearts into this campaign, assembling such kind words from collaborators like Hugh Dancy, Midori Francis and Rebecca Naomi Jones about why they love The 24 Hour Plays.

 We’re aiming for $24K and any donation you’re able to make will be extraordinarily impactful for our small non-profit organization. Right now, we’re at $15,496 raised, and we’ll be sprinting to the finish line at midnight.

For those of you who’ve asked me if we’ve got a rabbit ready to pull out of our hat — this is The 24 Hour Plays! Of course we don’t!

What we do have: community. I’m proud to work for an organization that means so much to so many. We’re The 24 Hour Plays and this is what community looks like.
