Six high schools will come together for the crazy and intense process of producing six original, brand new plays within a 24 hour time period. Within this 24 hour hours, students will audition, cast, write, edit, rewrite, rehearse, tech and perform these new creative short plays. At the 23rd hour, the public is invited and encourage to come see what our talented student were able to come up with within this limited timeframe!

The University of Miami Department of Theatre Arts presents the fourth edition of The 24 Hour Plays: University of Miami. UM students push the collaborative nature of theatre to the max, working together to write, rehearse, produce and perform six plays in 24 hours.

Groningen is taking on this challenge. Several enthusiastic groups will compete to make the best play. Let the games begin!

Isolation may mean we can't be in a theatre together, but it doesn't mean we can't create and celebrate theatre together! Members of Troupe 7161 wrote and performed monologues as part of our week of theatre challenges to connect with each other and their community through their art.
