Bringing together the next generation of theatermakers to create new work and form career-long artistic relationships.

The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals were originally presented at Theatre Row on Monday, July 25th.

This summer, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals returned live for the first time since 2019. 24 early-career actors, 6 directors, 6 playwrights, 5 producers, and one composer wrote, rehearsed, and performed new work in 24 hours. The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals introduces audiences to a generation of new artists who’ve gone on to change the game in American theater, film and television. We seek the very best of the next generation of theatermakers and arm them with what they need to find their way in this business – each other.
